Another Toxic Job

I haven’t written here in a while. Because I was in another toxic job. Toxic jobs are like toxic relationships, unstable and terrifying and you don’t know you’re in one until some of the folks you work with are drinking patron in order to cope with the trauma of the job and they are telling you not to waste your youth.

You don’t know a job is toxic until your body gives out and you are hacking up your lungs again as you lay asthmatic in bed wondering why you can’t handle high-stress situations.

Okay, so I’m realizing I have the heart of a crisis worker with the capacity of a human being.

I was trying again to be in this profession and I have realized again that I can’t ignore corruption nor can I ignore chaos and abuse of power. Here are the problematic things that I’ve been sucked into while I was so depressed I couldn’t even think to write.

1. My supervisor wanted me to spy on my coworkers because he thought I was a respectable negro. He then realized he was GREATLY mistaken.
